Colliding at times with lines dreamed of long agoWednesday, April 2, 2008 Hi Cody, I've tried emailing you about three times now, but every time I do, I get a message saying your email address doesn't exist. So I'm posting this in the hope that you'll see it and know that I'm looking for you. I've never done anything like this. I read the Missed Connections page for fun, but I've never had anyone write about me. At least, I'm pretty sure they haven't, and in any case I'm only going on my friend Glenn's word that you did, because I can't seem to find any of your entries. He read them to me, though, and they didn't sound like the sort of thing he would invent. To be honest, his imagination's just not that good. Listen, I'd like you to join me for dinner Friday night. I understand that you live somewhere near Forest Hill. Meet me at Chouchou, that little French restaurant at the corner of Dewey and Woodside, at 8 p.m. I'll buy you dinner and we can talk. I feel a bit uncomfortable knowing how much you've already said about yourself online -- and how much you've said about me. Let's take this conversation somewhere more private. I trust you'll recognize me when you see me, but I'll be wearing your favorite gray suit, just in case. Hassan |
